1) On the edit page create a table, select cell padding 10, width of 100%.

2) On advanced tab, select blacground colour as white (#ffffff)

3) Select create/update

This will create a table, text within cells will be on a white background and the text colour will be purple.

What is an Excerpt and how do I add to a post?

An Excerpt is an optional summary or description of a post; in short, a post summary.

The Excerpt has two main uses:

  1. It replaces the full content in A4T and the ARMA RSS feeds.
  2. It can be displayed in places where quick summaries are preferable to full content examples being
    • Search results
    • Archives
    • Weekly eNewsletter
    • When .PDF’s displayed

If you wish to include a post into the A4T newsletter, but, not the full post content, then enter the summary text into the Excerpt box on the post editing page.

How do I add an Event?

Under the Event tab, select ‘Manage Events’.

To add a new event fill in the “Add Event” form.

Notes on some of the ‘field’.

Event Host: Each event can have a separate author and host. The author of an event is always linked to the user that created it. If you are logged in as yourself, then you are the author. However, it is sometimes helpful to be able to specify a different person in event details. This is the host of the event, which can be any available ARMA user.

Event time: If your event is an all-day event, or for other reasons isn’t associated with a time, you can simply leave this field blank. For ordering purposes, however, events without a time are treated as happening at midnight.

Event repetition: The number of repetitions for an event is how many times the event repeats after the initial event. If you want an event to happen five times, you should use the number 4, to indicate four additional occurrences of the event.
